About the Studio
Leadership & Career Studio is a curated executive and leadership coaching collective, based in Belgium and serving professionals, leaders, and executives globally. Its focus is the leader navigating career growth, transition, or reinvention — particularly those leading across matrix organizations, multicultural teams, and the distinct pressures of international leadership.
The Studio’s philosophy is captured in a single line: gravitas without arrogance, transformation with rigor. Its premise is that ambitious professionals do not need cheerleaders; they need seasoned sounding boards. Every coach in the collective has operated inside complex, international, or matrixed environments and brings lived experience of cross-cultural dynamics, organizational politics, and global leadership — not just frameworks about them.
Jamie O’Brien serves the Studio as an Executive & Leadership Coach and Coaching Partner. He is profiled on the Studio’s coaching team as a leadership coach and talent and organizational development strategist, bringing leadership development, talent strategy, executive and mid-level leadership coaching, and career transition coaching to its engagements. His listen-first approach and nineteen-plus years building talent development systems from the ground up are the same capabilities that anchor this practice.
How the Studio Works
Every engagement begins with a complimentary discovery conversation, and every client is matched with intention — to a coach whose expertise, experience, language, cultural fluency, and way of working fit the client’s objectives. The engagement itself is with the Studio as a trusted collective: the client receives the depth of a confidential one-to-one coaching relationship alongside the professionalism, ethics, and continuity of an established brand, with the Studio remaining an independent point of contact throughout.
Coaching starts with assessment. Before the first session, targeted instruments build a clear picture of the leader’s style, self-awareness, strengths, and development edges, and the coach designs the approach around that picture rather than applying a generic model. Engagements typically run three to six months, meeting every two weeks and shifting to monthly as new habits take hold.
For Organizations
For sponsoring organizations, the Studio designs coaching programs around the company’s culture, leadership priorities, and business strategy rather than offering off-the-shelf packages — whether the need is investing in high potentials, supporting a leadership team through change, integrating a new executive into the culture, or developing leaders who must grow beyond their operational roots into strategic thinking and people leadership.
Its six-month Executive & Leadership Development Program combines twelve one-to-one coaching sessions with expert guidance and curated learning, structured across three dimensions: discovering yourself, exploring and practicing, and integrating and growing. The program is shaped around each participant’s priorities and the realities of their work, and it suits both individuals investing in themselves and organizations sponsoring their leaders.
Domains of Practice
The collective’s curated domains span leadership and executive presence; strategic thinking and decision-making; influence, communication, and stakeholder management; career growth and executive reinvention; change and transformation; talent and HR leadership; employer branding and talent strategy; international and cross-cultural leadership; and professional growth and clarity.
What This Means for You
When your leaders operate across borders, cultures, and matrix structures, this affiliation extends our reach. It gives us a coaching bench with genuine cross-cultural intelligence and multi-market experience, the capacity to support a sponsored cohort rather than a single leader, and a matching framework that pairs each leader with the right coach — all with the trust and continuity of working with a coach who already understands your context. For a leader based outside North America, or a leadership team spread across regions, it is often the most direct path to the right support.
