The Foundation of Transformation

The Discover phase is where everything begins. We don't assume we know your challenges — we listen deeply and ask better questions. This phase establishes the foundation for meaningful, lasting change. We work with you to understand not just what's happening, but why it matters and what's at stake.

We start with a comprehensive initial intake process. This includes structured interviews with key stakeholders — your direct reports, peers, senior leaders — to gather multiple perspectives on your leadership effectiveness, organizational context, and development priorities. We explore your career history, leadership philosophy, and the specific goals that matter most to you and your organization.

Assessment & Data Synthesis

We select and administer a tailored battery of assessments designed for your specific needs. Our primary assessment platform is the Hogan Assessment suite — the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) for leadership strengths and day-to-day personality, the Hogan Development Survey (HDS) for potential career derailers under stress, and the Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI) for understanding the values and drivers that shape leadership culture. When deeper cognitive insight is needed, we deploy the Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory (HBRI) and the Hogan Judgment assessment. We may also incorporate 360-degree feedback to understand how others experience your leadership.

Once we have the data, we synthesize it all — interviews, assessments, organizational context, your own reflections — into a clear, honest, and insightful picture. We look for patterns. We identify strengths to build on and blind spots to address. We connect individual development needs to business outcomes. This synthesis becomes your personal leadership profile, the lens through which we'll design your coaching roadmap.

Goal Setting & Stakeholder Alignment

In deep conversation, we help you articulate your specific, measurable coaching goals. These aren't vague aspirations — they're concrete outcomes tied to your role, your team, and your organization's success. Do you want to build a more direct, strategic communication style?
