The Work Between Sessions
Transform is where the real work happens. We meet regularly — typically biweekly — in focused coaching conversations. But the actual transformation? That happens between sessions. We design deliberate practice around your development goals. You're not just thinking about change; you're applying it in real situations with real people, then bringing that experience back to coaching.
Between sessions, you're experimenting with new approaches. You're testing a different communication style in a meeting. You're practicing delegation in a lower-stakes conversation before trying it with higher stakes. You're noticing your old triggers and consciously choosing different responses. This is where insight becomes habit, where understanding becomes skill. We create specific, achievable actions tied to your daily leadership reality.
Feedback Loops & Real-Time Adjustment
We create multiple feedback channels so you're getting real-time data on your progress. In each coaching session, we debrief what you tried, what worked, what was harder than expected. We look for patterns. Are you making progress on your identified competencies? What's blocking you? Where do you need different support or a different approach?
We may also gather 360 feedback from your team and stakeholders at key checkpoints to see if they're noticing shifts. Are they experiencing you as more collaborative? More decisive? More visibly committed to your development? This external perspective helps us understand not just how you're changing, but how others are responding to that change. Sometimes what feels like big work internally is exactly what needed to happen; sometimes we need to adjust. Coaching is dynamic, not static.
The Space Between Insight and Action
One of the most powerful aspects of coaching is the space between having an insight and taking action. That's where we work. You might have an "aha" moment about why you avoid delegating — maybe it comes from a deep need to be essential. But knowing that intellectually and shifting that pattern are two different things. Coaching is the bridge between the two.
We help you move from insight to action by identifying the specific situations where this pattern shows up, by practicing alternative approaches, by building your confidence, and by providing accountability. We help you stay with the discomfort of change long enough for new behaviors to take root. We celebrate wins — even small ones — because those wins build momentum. By the time you reach the Sustain phase, new patterns aren't forced; they've become natural, integrated into how you lead.
